Born in Albany and raised in a small Hudson River town, Michael fell in love with acting at an early age, performing every role he could get his hands and heart on -- in whatever school, community or small professional production he could find. He moved to NYC to complete a BFA degree at NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts and has spent decades amassing a substantial body of work for himself as an actor on Broadway, Off Broadway, and in theaters around the world, as well as enjoying steady work in film and television. He wants to live stories for you so he can hear you laugh loud and long, break your heart every now and then, and maybe even occasionally take your breath away.

Michael is having a ball working currently in the Broadway production of FUNNY GIRL. He will be playing the role of Tom Keeney from July 18th through July 23rd, and again from July 30th through August 13th. https://funnygirlonbroadway.com
Having associate directed the pre-Broadway tryout of the new musical adaptation of KARATE KID in summer 2022 at Stages St. Louis, Michael associated directed the NYC industry presentation of the show’s new material at Open Jar Studios this past June 2023.
